HARRISON COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION

Events/Enrichments

Harrison County Parks and Recreation offers enrichment programs during the school year for area students and groups.

The programs are educational and focus on hands-on learning activities to help complement classroom instruction and learning.

The sessions are held at both the Harrison County Recreation Complex and at schools throughout the county, offering students exposure to various disciplines through activities such as games and events.

By providing a short day-trip experience for Harrison and neighboring county students, the parks program has provided education experiences dealing with dinosaurs, medieval times, rocketry, outdoor and lifetime recreation opportunities and nature.
